operation and a variable displacement capability meaning they did not cycle on
and off resulting in much smoother engine running.
Some Alfa Romeo 159, Alfa Romeo Brera and Alfa Romeo Spider are built with the same air conditioning compressor. The Original
Equipment Manufacturer Numbers (OEM numbers) are Alfa Romeo 50514055, 60693333.
The air-conditioning system of these vehicles was assembled with a
Zexel DCS17IC compressor. Manufacturer numbers: Zexel 506041-0092, 506041-0095, 506041-0096, 71789102.
These
ac units seem to be interchangeable.
